It sought, in a conversation between Fátima Alves (Centre for Functional Ecology - Science for People & the Planet and Universidade Aberta de Portugal) and Sílvia Portugal (FEUC - Faculty of Economics, University of Coimbra), to reflect on suffering, health, and sustainability in the contemporary world, analyzing how these axes interconnect and help us understand and act upon the global challenges of the 21st century.
