Este artigo parte da experiência do projeto para propor uma solução inovadora ao automatizar e padronizar o monitoramento da saúde das colónias de abelhas. Através da combinação de diferentes conjuntos de dados e da aplicação de aprendizagem automática, será possível melhorar a precisão das intervenções dos apicultores, compreender os mecanismos subjacentes à saúde das colónias e prever perdas futuras.

Fátima Alves is a co-author of the article "Bridging the Gap between Field Experiments and Machine Learning: The EC H2020 B-GOOD Project as a Case Study towards Automated Predictive Health Monitoring of Honey Bee Colonies," recently published in the journal Insects MDPI, resulting from her participation in the European project B-GOOD H2020 Project!
This article builds upon the project's experience to propose an innovative solution by automating and standardizing the monitoring of honey bee colony health. Through the combination of different datasets and the application of machine learning, it will be possible to improve the accuracy of beekeepers' interventions, understand the underlying mechanisms of colony health, and predict future losses.
